Bird to the Max on Give to the Max Day

We are excited at The River Nest B&B to be able to host Birdchick on November 13 and 14.  Birdchick is really Sharon Stiteler and you can learn about her at www.birdchick.com.  The National Eagle Center is going to hold a “Bird Off” on Give to the Max Day (Nov 14).  Birdchick will go up against the Eagle Center’s own Scott Mehus to see who can see the most different birds in one day.  The Bird Off will begin at 6 am and go to 6 pm.  There will be updates on facebook and twitter and on the NEC website, www.thenationaleaglecenter.org.  All the rest of us have to do is watch and enjoy and donate to the Eagle Center.  There will be a final count that Thursday night at The Reads Landing Brew Pub (www.rlbrewingco.com).  Put it on your calendars and tune in during the day to watch the action.  Don’t forget to donate to the National Eagle Center, as they are a private funded non-profit, and get no government support at all.  And don’t forget to book rooms at The River Nest especially during January, February and March for a relaxing winter get-away and fantastic eagle watching right from your suite.  Stay tuned to our facebook page (www.facebook.com/therivernestbedandbreakfast) and the National Eagle Center website for updates and more info
