Things we are doing in the Wabasha Minnesota area, Oct 4, 2013

We have been busy here at The River Nest the past 3 weeks.  There are many activities in Wabasha and its annual SeptOctober Fest.  This Fest runs from the last weekend in September to the last weekend in October.  See the Wabasha Chamber web page for info (www.wabashamn.org).  The National Eagle Center(www.nationaleaglecenter.org) has special programs each weekend, and the “Woodshed” and “Grandpas Barn” are very popular (many crafts and oak furniture and goodies for sale).  The Reads Landing Brew Pub even has a special micro-brew Bob brewed just for SeptOctober Fest.  This present weekend and next weekend we are booked full.  The weekend of the 19th and 26th we still have openings.  I posted a picture on facebook (www.facebook.com/therivernestbedandbreakfast) showing the leaf color change % around the state.  We are only at 25% or less now, so the next 2 weekends and possibly the next 3 should be spectacular.
